Hi I'm Holly!

I am a mother, a veteran, a student and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a wife, a stay at home mother of 6 children, a photographer, a home based business owner and a former US soldier.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it just makes sense. The LDS teachings follow those of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and His example. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is perfect, never failing, and steadfast. It's doctrine does not bow to society or pressures of the outside world. The teachings of the Church have allowed me to grow in the knowledge and understanding of our Father in Heaven's love for all mankind, regardless of mistakes made. I am Mormon, because I have had a personal witness of the truthfulness of the Gospel, and I cannot ever deny that. Though my testimony, to some, may be insignificant, to me it is a major source of my strength. Though some might find it small, it is still my own. My own personal witness that my Father in Heaven and Savior love me, knows me, watches over me, and hear my prayers, and blesses me each and every day.  I recognize that there are times where I fall woefully short of deserving the blessings that I receive, and that knowledge gives me the courage and determination to try harder.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a teacher in the Sunday School Program. I teach the new member/Investigator class each week, where we have a group discussion about the basic principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Outside of church, I try to remember who I am and that I am an ambassador of Christ and His precious teachings and doctrines. I strive to live the principles that Christ himself taught, by treating others with kindness and finding ways to serve those around me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Absolutely, we are! To be a Christian, means to be a follower of Christ. Mormons strive to follow Christ's example that he lived and depicted while He was upon the Earth. The very name of our church reflects that we believe in Jesus Christ. Christ is the center of our faith, our homes and our lives.. Show more Show less
