Hi I'm Matthew

I am like any regular young adult. I love people and am currently serving a mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a full time mission. Before my mission and currently, I enjoy being with people and just having a good time together. I was working on my bachelor's degree in Microbiology and hope to continue when I return home. Some of my hobbies include camping, vacationing, paintballing, movies, and of course DATING!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have seen for myself in reality that the fullness of the gospel really does bless families and bring them closer together. I also wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father who is my ultimate role model. That is because he has a successful career, family, and foundation in Jesus Christ. Since being on my mission I have seen just how challenging it can be to raise up a righteous family and with the help of Jesus Christ both my mother and father have been able to do just that and I am so thankful for that!

How I live my faith

Well I do this currently by serving as a full time missionary. I am serving 2 years away from my home, family, and friends but I know that I will see them all again soon after my mission and that my relationships will be strengthened because of my mission. I try to show my faith in being obedient to mission rules and working as hard as I can everyday to bring people to the waters of baptism.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Well being a missionary I can say I do it because I want people to have the same blessings that I have taken for granted most of my life. It is a commandment from a modern prophet for every worthy young man to serve a mission but more than a duty it's a privilege. By serving others my own testimony is strengthened and I am able to see the hand of the Lord more abundantly in my life and in the life of those I serve.  Show more Show less
