Hi I'm Bill

I am a graphic artist and a family man. I love to explore the world I live in. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married, father of 4 kids. My hobbies include ball hockey, cycling, running, skiing and woodworking. I am a graphic artist and illustrator. For leisure I love a good movie or a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

Raised a Protestant Christian, I fell away from church attendance in my teens, but maintained my deep testimony of Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, having been "born again" by the witness of the Spirit as a youth. As a young adult, I fell into some foolish habits and sins, and my soul did not feel happy. Then a friend introduced me to the Mormon faith where I felt that same sweet Spirit I had felt as a youth. I followed the Spirit as it directed me, and after careful study and prayer, I chose to be baptized into what I recognized as Christ's restored church. While I continue to struggle with my own personal weaknesses, I feel the blessed assurance that I am on the path of eternal life God has promised those that follow him. Christ and His gospel are an anchor to me that I don't want to live without ever again.

How I live my faith

I strive to serve my fellow church members and the community in whatever the Lord calls me to do. I have served as a scoutleader and youth advisor and love associating and adventuring with the youth. I have also found personal satisfaction and purpose in searching about my ancestors through family history. I use the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ as a solid foundation in continually striving to be a better husband, father and person.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Reading the scriptures regularly keeps my heart in tune with the Lord. In times of need, the Lord has often brought a scripture into my mind that reassures or teaches me, leading me on to further light and knowledge as it can be gained in no other way. Show more Show less
