Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Idaho, I love life! and...I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student studying Accounting I am married and love to spend time with my family I love water skiing and snowmobiling I served as a missionary for 2 years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the wonderful state of West Virginia.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion comes from practicing gospel principles and watching the mysteries of God unfold before my eyes. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed about the content that it holds. I know that Joseph Smith as a humble boy was inspired by God to have the questions that he had at such a young age. He had the faith to ask God for answers to an important question that he had. He did just as James directs, ask with faith, nothing wavering and it shall be given him. God grants this same promise to each of us as individuals. He knows each of us, He loves us, He wants the best for us. I know that to be true, He is the light of my light.

How I live my faith

I pray each day I read the scriptures each day I go to church each Sunday I pay tithes on all that I earn I keep all other commandments the best I can, and when I do come up short, I ask God for forgiveness and work to never do those things again. Perfection is my goal; I know I have a long way to go, but I know that it is possible. I do it all these things because I love God and I want to live with him again someday with my eternal family.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

I know that when I pay my tithing I will be watched over and I will be blessed. Normally being a college student means that you must abide by a strict budget. Sure I don't have millions of dollars to dispose of, but I have always had food and a roof over my head. I know that this is a blessing from God and I am grateful for it. He gives me so much; I am eternally indebted to him, I love him and want to obey him. Show more Show less
