Hi I'm Devon Brown and im a Mormon

Im a Diesel freak, Guitar man, Love making noise and im a Mormon!

About Me

Im from a small town in Arizona called Pima. I love it there because I have allot of family there and its where I have made allot of great memories. Ive always grown up with a strange obsesion with trucks. I learned to drive my Grampas Peterbilt 379 in my teens and since as long as i can remember have wanted to drive one. When i learned how to drive it, it my desire only grew. I love learning how things work and also love to work on vehicals. I dream of someday becomeing a diesel mechanic and work on pick up diesels and improve theyre economics. I also love playing guitar. It is a way to express my self and release stress and calm my self after a long day. It was something I learned my self but with few people that inspired me greatly. It taught me that i can do anything when resouces are slim. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to, just as long as your desire out weighs the odds against you. So to sum things up. I love making noise wether its out of a strait pipe or amp. And i love what my religioun has done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have to say my parents play a huge role in why im a Mormon. They raised me on Christian values. my Dad taught me to work hard for what I got and my Mother taught me how to be a good person and that I was loved. They showed me what it was like to be loved. Its the same kind of love I feel from the spirit. That Christ like love. Its what I strive for. Being a Mormon has helped me live a better life. I am able to know where i came from and where im going. I now know what choises to make and what is important in this life. I know this Church is true and that Jesus is the Christ.

How I live my faith

I have always believed in God and Jesus Christ but cant say i have always lived for them. I used to live for them when it was benafitial to me or when i got scared and needed my Saviors love. I have currnetly been surving a full time mission for my Church and it has opened my eyes on how important it is to make Christ the center of everything you are doing. In tough times when i have needed him most and i wasnt living worthy of his spirit i had to work for it and it took allot longer to over come obsticals because first i had to regain the spirit. It is much easier to live my life with Him than without. I now strive not to have to go before him pleading for repentance then to help me with my problem, instead I repent daily and make him the center of my life and everything else falls into place. It is much easier to ask for help without first having to ask for forgivness. Makes me feel good inside through out my day aswell.
