Hi I'm Steven

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the church and served a mission in a foreign country.

About Me

I'm a father of seven children & 5 grandchildren. I own a small business that employees about 30 youth ages 16-20--mostly high school students. I enjoy youth, watching them learn & develop good work ethics and become contributing members of society.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church & it has always been very important and central in my life. At age 32 I was divorced & had 3 children. That was the most difficult time I could ever imagine. I found as I followed the teachings of the prophet and lived the values that I had been taught I was happier and felt much more peace. Since then I have married again. My wife and I have had 4 children together (7 total). I have been very blessed by my Heavenly Father. I feel his love and direction daily in my life. I feel the peace and comfort that comes from drawing closer to my Heavenly Father and following the prophet. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and cares about me and He truly wants me to be happy and return to his presence.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good citizen of my community. I live in a small town and own a small business. Everyone in town is familiar with my business. By living the teachings of the church, being honest in all my dealings, and treating others like I would like to be treated, I try to set an example that others would want to follow. At church I am an executive secretary to our bishop. I help schedule his appointments and preform other assignments that help our ward to run smoothly and allow others to enjoy and participate in worship service. I love to see people enjoy all the blessings that total & complete activity provides.
