Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Data Architect, Woodworker, Custom Golf Club Maker, and a Grandpa.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives. I know that we are each literal spiritual offspring of his, and that he has restored his church in our day in order to help each of his children return to him. I know that the "Plan of Salvation" is our Heavenly Father's plan for each of his children to learn, grow and become worthy to return and live with him eternally, through the atonement of his only begotten son in the flesh, Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Mormon Church, is the Saviors church restored on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ restored his church upon the earth with Prophets & Apostles and all of the keys of his priesthood, in order for each of us to be able to receive the ordinances of salvation necessary for us to return as eternal families to God, Our Heavenly Father. I have four children and three grandchildren who I love very very much. I enjoy spending time with them, and am grateful for God's plan for families to be eternal. Each one of us on this earth are literal spiritual brothers & sisters, sons & daughters of our Heavenly Father. I know that our Heavenly Father wants each of his children to return to him. I know that I love my earthly family and miss them when they are not around. This gives me a glimpse of the love that our Heavenly Father has for each of us. I know that together each of us can through love & service help one another to be our best and return to be together with our eternal family.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach a Sunday School class of 12-14 year olds each Sunday. I enjoy community service at " Feed My Starving Children", "Second Harvest"' and the "LDS Bishop's Storehouse". I enjoy genealogy, and I am a computer geek. I enjoy helping others learn about the many resources available to us today for genealogical research and family history. And one of the greatest blessings in my life is the opportunity to serve as a temple ordinance worker 4 days a month, where I am able to help others in the sacred temple work that enables families to be together forever.
