Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Clinical Pharmacist that specializes in diabetes. I have a wonderful wife and 3 wonderful children. I have been a member of the Church for 23 years. My membership in Christ's true church has made all of the difference in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I had many good examples in my life that where members of the Church. They taught me about the Church. I solidified my testimony when my best friend served a mission in South Korea. I was lost without his presence. I had the scriptures but never really read them. I started with the Book of Mormon. I read 5 chapters a night. After finishing the Book of Mormon I read the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, the Old Testament, and the New Testament. While reading the Bible I remembered the doctrine and stories in the Book of Mormon and their similarities. This let me know that the Book of Mormon was the word of God; therefore, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

I became Bishop of my ward in April 2011. Before that I served on the High Council and was the Stake Employment Specialist. These callings have allowed me to spend time with the Stake Presidency and members of the High Council. They are all very faithful and diligent men. What I like most about my calling as Bishop is the chance to teach members about the power of the atonement. Jesus Christ gave us the ultimate gift. This gift allows us to repent and have our sins forgiven. It takes commitment on our part to acknowledge our transgression, be remorseful, confess it to the Lord, and if applicable the Bishop of the ward, and do not commit the transgression again. I have see people change their lives for the better and find much needed peace through utilizing the gift of the atonement. The other life changing activity I have witnessed is the blessings from reading the Book of Mormon. In May, I challenged the ward to start reading the Book of Mormon and finish it by the end of the year. I have seen people reading it for the first time ever and some members reading it for the third time this year receive blessings in their life by reading the Book of Mormon. This book is true and it gives us a personal knowledge and understanding of how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us and want us to get our lives in order so we can return to live with them for eternity. I have to help others find employment and following the doctrine of the Church when implementing the programs of the Church. Serving in the Church is the least I could do for what Jesus Christ did for me through the atonement.
