Hi I'm Becca

I love life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in love with life! Little things make me happy: The sun, running, smiling, laughing, traveling, learning, playing sports, being outdoors, kids, dancing, playing the piano, singing, reading, eating great food, good conversation, accomplished goals, random high fives, and most of all being with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because as I live its teachings, I am happy. I have received answers to prayer through the Holy Ghost's peace to my heart and assurance of mind, that the Book of Mormon is true. It is a second witness to the Bible of Christ's ministry and mission and helps me understand God's purposes and plan. I have received witness that we are led by living prophets and apostles as were those in the Bible and as Christ established when He was here on earth. I know that God hears and answers our prayers. I am a Mormon because I have felt and seen witness in my life that it is true. It answers my greatest questions about life, gives me guidance, direction, peace, and joy. It is a constant and universal truth. It gives purpose to my life. I know that when the Lord restored the fullness of the gospel, after many truths were lost or confused, that the Lord called a prophet to guide and direct us for our time today, bringing unity, revelation for the whole church, and priesthood power. I know that through this priesthood power we can receive saving ordinances and make sacred covenants, or promises with God, to one day return to live with Him. I know my family can be together forever and that life does not end when we die. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be clean and become like Him. I know that God is aware of us and loves us. I know He hears and answers all of our prayers as we come to Him with sincerity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my trying to be better today than I was yesterday. I learn how to do this by increasing my relationship and understanding with my Heavenly Father through daily prayer and scripture study. I seek opportunities to serve my family and friends by understanding what is going on in their lives and finding ways to show them I love them. I have received many blessings from the Lord and seek to show my gratitude and love to Him by trying to treat others the way He would. I serve in my community by volunteering in rest homes, as a recreational soccer coach, and in the hospital. At church I have served by planning and carrying out activities for all ages, teaching classes, and coordinating with leaders and ward members to ensure ward sisters and their families are cared for. I live my faith by trusting in God, that He has a plan for me, and for each of us and that He will fulfill every promise in His timing and way. He has never forgotten me or left me alone.
