Hi I'm Larry

I grew up without any religious direction. As a young adult, I began to search for truth and was led to Christ. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I became a Mormon while in college. For various reasons, I quit college and began a family. Several years later (after 3 out of 6 children were born), I returned to my schooling and got involved in software development field. I am currently a project manager for software development teams. I have six amazing children, the oldest of whom just began college. My wife is the love of my life and my children are my greatest joy.

Why I am a Mormon

As a convert at 20 years old, I had very little religious background. I learned what the spirit felt like. Through the Spirit, I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon early on. I also learned through the sweet feelings of the Holy Spirit, that Jesus Christ suffered all things that I might experience forgiveness, peace, and true happiness, regardless of the challenges that come my way. Since my early testimony, the spirit has witnessed to me in many very intense, undeniable, and sacred ways that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's true church upon the Earth and is led by a Prophet, just as in ancient days. I know that by reading the scriptures, including both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, that I come to know more of my Savior and the Lord's will in my life. I continually thank my Heavenly Father for leading me to the truth. And I am forever grateful that my Heavenly Father blessed me with the truth before my life went down a path that I would have regretted. I solemnely testify that my Savior lives, that he loves me. And that in a way impossible to fully comprehend, he loves all who has ever lived on the Earth, who currently lives on the Earth, and who has yet to be born. His mission is not to divide mankind, but to bring peace and redemption to a troubled world.

How I live my faith

The Lord Lives! And so should we! Every day that I wake up is another opportunity to live - not only to experience true happiness for myself, but to help others grow in knowledge and love of the Savior. The best way I live my faith is to exemplify my testimony of the Savior in word and deed. I have been able to do this serving the children, the youth, and the adults in various ways throughout the years. But in all my service, I try my best to follow the perfect exemplar of all, my Savior. I love Him and love to allow His light to shine in my every day life.
