Hi I'm Larisa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 32 years old and have been married for 11 years. I am a mother of four children - two girls and two boys- aged 9, 8, 5, and 10 months. My husband is in the military, so we move around a lot. We have enjoyed each new place we have lived, and look forward to every adventure that we face. I graduated from college with a degree in Piano Performance. I love to play the piano, read, spend time outdoors biking, hiking, and playing with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised in the church, I can't really point to one single moment or experience when I realized the church was true. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time when I was 10 years old, and gained a testimony of the truthfulness of that book from a very young age. The longer I live, and the more experiences I have, the deeper my testimony becomes. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the precious truths that have been revealed to us in these Latter-days. I know that the Savior atoned for our sins, and that it is only through Him and His atoning sacrifice that we can return to live with Him. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers, and that He is deeply and profoundly concerned about each one of us and our own personal welfare. I know that we have a true and living prophet on the earth today to guide and direct us. I know from personal experience that the way to find happiness is in keeping the commandments of God and following His prophets.

How I live my faith

I use my musical talents to play hymns and do special musical numbers for church meetings. I love being able to help others feel the spirit by sharing music. My husband and I read scriptures and pray with our children each night. We also hold Family Home Evening on Monday night when we all (the children included) take turns teaching lessons and preparing fun activities to do together. When we do these things together we can all feel a difference in the Spirit in our home, and it helps us all to be more centered on Christ.
