Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in a small farming town in California where my wonderful parents taught me the value of work & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister. I love being me!! I have a great husband who works hard for our family so that I can stay home with our five wonderful children. Who better to teach and train than a mom! We decided early in our marriage that I would stay home with them no matter what and early on when things were tight I was able to babysit other children so that I could still stay home with mine. What a blessing that was in our life! I love to read, scrapbook, bake and watch a good movie or two now and then. I like to volunteer at my kids' schools and just help wherever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because that is how I was raised. But somewhere along the way I gained a testimony of my own. It's hard to say exactly when because I have always been a believer. I have an obedient spirit I suppose. I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ lives!! He is the Son of God and will return again to the earth. Christ's church means everything to me. I have never wanted to live any other way! And I am Happy!!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve the youth of our church and am currently working with the young children ages 3-12. I have the opportunity to help teach them the values of service, honesty, integrity and most importantly about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I also get to work with the Cub Scouting program. I love the youth of the church. They are so strong and valiant! They love God and Jesus Christ. If only we all had the faith of young children!
