Hi I'm Stephen

I grew up all over the place and dreamed about living in the stars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family runs several businesses. We produce science fiction conventions and build haunted houses. Our lives have been fun and exciting, but nothing beats the thrill of being with our loved ones - at work and on vacation together. My wife and I have two twin sons, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because as a young boy I developed a relationship with my Heavenly Father. Many times I have witnessed the power of God in my life and, more importantly, in the lives of others. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and through Him we can return to live with our Father again. Knowing why we are here and what is expected of us brings our family together and keeps us happy.

How I live my faith

I am constantly humbled by the love and devotion of the members of our church. Just when I think that perhaps I've done enough, someone manages to inspire me to do more. I am so lucky to be in a position to see the many ways that members of our church help each other. Together, with each other and our Heavenly Father's assistance, we can have fun overcoming the trials and hardships of life. As brothers and sisters of a loving God, we are able to share our talents with each other just like children born to earthly parents. There is great joy in helping, loving and caring for one another. Whenever I'm feeling down or I feel like life is too hard, God perks me up. I''ll usually read a scripture that touches my heart, pray to God and get an answer (often not what I was asking for), or find someone that needs my help. God knows just what we need and He's always waiting for us to ask.
