Hi I'm LeeAnn.

I'm a Mormon, a college graduate, a wife and mother, a former homeschooler. The gospel of Jesus Christ is what keeps me going.

About Me

I'm a full-time wife and mother as well as a homeschooler. Some of my children attend public school while others learn at home. We have moved around some within the United States so I have claimed home in the west, east, and midwest. I love reading and on-again/off-again handwork. I graduated from college with a B.S. in English and Secondary Education with a stong minor in Political Science and worked for several years before I married and had children.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess the obvious reason to answer the question, "Why are you a Mormon?" would be because I was born into an active LDS family. However, living here in the Bible belt away from family, I would say it is because my life is so much richer because of the knowledge and assurances I have from my faith that my Father in Heaven really cares. He sent his Son to pay the price so I can repent of all my sins and return to live with our Father in Heaven someday. I appreciate the gift of the Holy Ghost so I receive daily guidance in all my activities. I am so grateful that He is there too help me with my burdens and cares and know that I can always turn to him when I'm not enough or when I don't know enough, and ask him to make up the difference. I am a Mormon because no one else can tell me why I'm here, where I came from, and where I am going. That knowledge makes the most difficult challenges worth it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly exercising it. I try to give my challenges to my Savior, who took everything on Him at Gethsemane. I am constantly amazed at how willing He is to stand with me and teach me. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are so patient! I am so grateful when I listen to the Holy Ghost and follow those promptings. My life is always better when I do that. I am grateful for the priesthood authority that has been restored to earth so my family and I can receive blessings and inspired counsel from God. I love to attend the temple and feel the strength I receive there. It really is about eternity.
