Hi I'm Krista

I'm a mother of three boys and a little girl. I love family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three boys and a girl. I am married to my husband who is teaching at a university. My family is important to me. When I get the chance I enjoy keeping my family history through keeping a journal and making movies of my family. I enjoy cooking but not coming up with the menu for the week. I love to watch my boys laugh and do silly things. I love talking with my parents and siblings. I love to take photos. Personal goals of mine are to visit 50 temples before I turn 50 and to become closer to Christ. I made myself a challenge for the month and it's to do a random act of kindness each day of the month. I am learning to be more self sufficient by canning.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are good people. They have been wonderful examples of goodness and happiness. I was baptized at eight but was not fully active until I joined Seminary at my high school. I attended church with my grandmother who was always helping me to see my potential. I choose to be Mormon because Jesus Christs' gospel is perfect. All of His teachings lead me to become a better person. Family is important to me and through the gospel of Jesus Christ I can learn more about my family and how to become a better family member. The Holy Ghost has witnessed to me of the truthfulness of eternal families. I feel the love of family who have passed on and they comfort me in times of need. I watch others who are happy and I try to see what makes them happy, and it's usually a principle taught by Jesus that makes them happy.

How I live my faith

I try to listen to the subtle thoughts in my mind that remind me to do important things such as turning on my alarm or visiting a friend. My husband and I try to meet new people and get to know them by having them over for dessert. I try to visit women who live nearby. I meet with other moms who have children the same age as mine. I hope that my kids watch as I try to serve others. I believe serving others will make me happier.
