Hi I'm Teki

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, about me... I was born of great parents. Me being the only child. I was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. I went to college for about two years. I love to play sports. I love playing Football, volleyball, and some rugby every now and then. If I'm not playing any sports, I'm jamming on the ukulele/guitar and singing with all the family and friends. I love to dance, maybe jerk, or do the electric slide sometimes... lol. And I love to be around my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that He does have a perfect plan for my family and I to be together forever. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't be with them not only in this life, but also in the next. I've also come to taste of His great love he has for me and I know that I've made mistakes, but that through my Savior, Jesus Christ, I can be with my Heavenly Father. Through this Gospel I've learned that there is an importance of Prophets. And, I'm grateful that the Prophet Joseph Smith chose to do the things that he did so that I can know more fully of my Heavenly Father's love. I know that there is truth to the Book of Mormon and everyday that I read it, it gives me strength and reminds me of how merciful God has been not only in the past, but also here in the present. I encourage anyone/everyone to read this book, pray about it, and see for themselves that it does testify of Christ.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I'm on my mission and spreading the Gospel to people that choose to listen. I've also worked with youth, back home. Organizing service projects, and teaching them lessons on sundays every now and then. During the week I would come to church and also do scouts with the boys. Always a fun experience with that. Going to campouts during the summer with them, and preparing trips to like the Fire Department to see what kinds of careers people are into.
