Hi I'm Emily

I'm an Army Wife, I have 5 sons, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of an army officer and mother of five young boys. I have my BS in Horticulture but all I raise, water and feed are children. I finished my first triathalon last year and am loving running with my boys while we look for "Peter Rabbit".

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the joy and understanding the gospel brings to my life. Life is hard. I have had 5 boys in 7 years. Two years on my own as my husband served overseas. If I didn't know my Savior and know that He knew me I wouldn't be able to carry on. I know he carries me. The Gospel is the True and living Gospel of our Savior. It guides me, teaches me and comforts me. I know Joesph Smith restored the Church. I know because I have asked in sincere prayer and the Lord has confirmed it through the Holy Ghost. I love this Gospel and long to share it with others.

How I live my faith

My focus right now is giving my all to teaching my boys on how to be successful in life. I feel that they are my light that goes out and shows the world what it is to be a Mormon. I try to give more than I recieve. I try to serve and think about the individual.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Emily
Joseph Smith was a normal kid who had extraordinary faith. He had questions just like you and me and our children. His heart longed to know what church was true and he took it to the Lord in humble prayer. The Lord appeared to him in a simple forest in upstate New York to answer that prayer. What awesome blessings have come from that simple act of faith. Joseph restored the true church to the earth and was the first Prophet of these last days. The Priesthood was restored and the Book of Mormon was translated by him. He gave his life to restoring the Gospel and though he was persecuted continually he never gave up. Show more Show less
