Hi I'm Amy

I love the great outdoors. I'm disabled. I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside and traveling. I love to be creative in the kitchen. I have a big heart, imagination and sense of humor. I believe taking care of the earth and nature is a part of honoring God. I like a variety of outdoor activities from gardening to non-competitive sports. I also enjoy internet surfing, reading and writing. None of which I'm very good at.

Why I am a Mormon

I had been raised in a very Godly family where a tattered children's Bible was among my favorite childhood books. I knew a lot about God and Jesus but there was something missing. I began my search for what was missing while in high school. For the next twelve years I had been from one side of Christianity to the other and still could not find that missing link. A missionary was following me through a parking lot on a very stressful afternoon. I was invited to learn about the Church and instantly knew I had found what I had been searching for.

How I live my faith

I don't want to classify what my daily lifestyle is now as following religion. I call it a way of life. Just by being myself, showing respect to others and taking care of nature is my little way of honoring God. Sundays are particularly special to me personally as it's the day to rest, learning, sharing and growing in the Gospel.
