Hi I'm Brian

I work in sports and am the husband of an amazing woman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm grew up in Southern California, but have lived in Philadelphia, Utah, Dallas, and, thanks to my mission, Venezuela. I studied history and Spanish in college and then sport management in grad school. I love baseball, everything Venezuelan, and especially my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, as a teenager, I accepted the challenge issued by an ancient prophet at the end of the Book of Mormon to ask if the things in the book "are not true," in the name of Christ. After I had asked, I didn't receive a heavenly vision, but I did receive a profound feeling of peace and warmth deep within my soul. It was an experience that I cherish and I can't deny that this feeling was from God. I know that it was the Holy Ghost confirming to me that the things that I had read were indeed true. I know, as all of those who accept the same challenge can, that: "Those who gain this divine witness from the Holy Spirit will also come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith is his revelator and prophet in these last days, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah."

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in Church services every Sunday, by reading the scriptures and praying daily, by trying to serve others and by striving to be honest in all that I do.
