Hi I'm Dara

I'm a wife, a group exercise instructor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 27 and I live in Virginia. My husband and I have been married 3 years. My husband is working on his Bachelor's Degree and I stay at home with our daughter. After completing my Bachelor's Degree I found work as an Administrative Assistant in a doctor's office for about 2 years, until I became a mother and am able to stay at home. I am a Group Exercise Instructor and love teaching exercise classes!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both converts to the Church and it took them some time to become firmly planted in the Gospel. I was grateful that they valued the Mormon faith as my brother, sisters, and I grew up. My parents and leaders in the Church helped learn about Jesus Christ, His Gospel, and the Plan of Happiness that allows my family (and yours) to live together forever, even past this lifetime. I was baptized at age 8 and loved developing my testimony as I grew. As I went through school, I was grateful for the knowledge that I had of who I am as a daughter of God. At the age of 21, I served a full-time mission in Guatemala. I learned to love the people of Guatemala and to speak the Spanish Language. I continued to learn of the abounding, absolute, and constant love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for us. I am Mormon because I know that we have a purpose on this earth and I know Jesus Christ set a perfect example for how we should live while we are here.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by starting each day new. I seek to serve those around me. I enjoy sharing the gospel with my friends and coworkers. At church, I am a teacher in the Spanish language to a group of sisters. I love it!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Dara
Yes, I know that there is, because I have prayed to know that the current President of the church, Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. Show more Show less
