Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up all over the United States. I have been a Mormon all my life.

About Me

I'm currently a stay-at-home mom with 3 young children. We live in the upper midwest (brrrr!) and have survived 5 winters so far. I enjoy reading books (pretty much anything), playing with my kids, running my craft blog, camping with my family and being with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith and I honestly don't know what my life would be like without it. My faith has guided me in every step of my life and I am so grateful I had such wonderful guidance! The church is all about charity and love for our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am also blessed with the knowledge that I can be with my husband and kids (and other members of my family) FOREVER! What a beautiful concept. I know this gospel is true, I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know we are lead by a true prophet of God and I know the covenant we make in the temple are real. I love this church more than I can truly express. It is my life and my future and I know you will love it, too, when you learn and truthfully pray about the gospel in your life.

How I live my faith

My faith is pretty much the center of my life. I make friends from our ward and my kids also have friends from the church. We participate activitely in our ward callings and do not get paid for doing so. This makes everything we do to serve each other and those around us more special and self-motivating. I love bringing people to the organized activities such as the Christmas program, children's Sunday program, and other weekly activities that are put together for enjoyment and fellowship. My "calling" in the church right now is to work with the children. We teach them each week, organize them by ages and help the teachers when needed. I also full participate in visiting other adults in the ward and serving them as best I can. I love to live the Gospel, for it makes my life happy and brighter in every way. It's a wonderful way to be a positive example to my kids and to others around me.
