Hi I'm Lauren.

I'm a singer. I'm a writer. I'm an event planner. I'm a PR professional. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lauren and I am a recent college graduate working for a public relations agency in downtown Seattle. Although I grew up in Texas, I'm a city girl and enjoy exploring new places to shop, see movies, eat and hang out with friends and family. I love my family and enjoy being a role model to my three younger siblings. In my spare time, I enjoy making jewelry and other crafts, singing and performing for others, writing stories, blogging, reading, exploring, throwing parties, making new friends and learning new skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the only way to find true happiness is through following Jesus Christ's example and by keeping the commandments that God has given to us in the scriptures. I was raised Mormon and was baptized when I turned eight. Everything about the Mormon church is centered around happiness and joy. I love the optimism I feel when I attend church meetings, read my scriptures and pray. I know that I'm a beloved daughter of God and he has a divinely inspired plan for me and for all his children on Earth. All we have to do is come unto him and he will bless and love us eternally. I also believe that one of the greatest blessings the church offers is being able to live with your family forever. I know Christ loves us and died for us so that we can live and so that we can find true happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, but live my religion on a daily basis. Our religion is centered around service and love. I believe that by small and simple things, great things can come to pass. I know that people are more important and to-do lists and deadlines and try my hardest to reach out and help those around me. Sometimes all it takes is a smile or a hug to brighten someone's day.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Lauren.
This purpose of life is to be a good person and do as much good as possible in order to be worthy to return to live with Heavenly Father again. It is also equally as important to help others come unto Christ and help make their lives easier. This is why I try to spend time every day trying to help and serve others. Show more Show less
