Hi I'm Sue

I live in Northern California. I'm a graphic designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married in the Temple later in life to and old high school friend. I have 4 children and my husband has 2. We have horses and love to trail ride in the local areas where we live. And we both work from home so this allows us the flexibility to play when we want.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church because I found a way to follow Christ every day of my life. I found answers to Gospel questions and a group of people so humble and willing to help me on my way to salvation. I always believed in the Bible and Jesus Christ but I had so many unanswered questions. Once I read The Book of Mormon -- so many things became clear.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every Sunday and have a calling in the church, I am also able to participate in charity events in the community and helpful things like planing trees in our city or cleaning up a nearby park. I feel so connected to the community around me.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Sue
Mormon women understand they are daughters of God and strive to be "Christlike". They are also funny, hardworking, loving moms like you! My experience has been that we hold sacred but different roles as men and women and women are lifted up and treated well by the men in the church. I would say yes they believe in equality and harmony and unity between men and women especially in the marriage. Show more Show less
