Hi I'm Trevor

I grew up in a small town, I served a mission in London England, I'm a father of 4, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in northern Arizona. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I played sports in high school, mainly basketball and baseball. I served a mission for the church when I turned 19. It was just before and during my mission that I gained a real testimony of the church. I found that as I taught others about our Heavenly Father and his plan for us, my testimony grew. I returned home and went to respiratory therapy school. I now work in an inner city hospital helping people. I find a lot of joy and satisfaction being able to help people get better! I love to play with my kids! I have 3 boys and 1 girl. They keep my wife and I extremely busy! All of my kids have food allergies. We have to be very careful, we're always reading ingredients to make sure there isn't anything that will cause a reaction. Because of the allergies and a few other reasons, we home school! It's a lot of work (mostly for my wife) but it's definitely worth it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons. I'm drawn to the teachings of Jesus Christ and His role as Savior and Redeemer. Because of His sacrifice, I am able to repent of my sins and become clean! I love the Church's defense of the family! It seems that families are being attacked and broken up more and more everyday. I love the standards and values that the Church stands for and teaches! Those basic principle and standards make sense to me and help me lead a good clean life. I know that if I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, I can return and live with Him and my Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read and prayed about it. It contains the teachings of Jesus Christ. Most importantly I know that God lives! I know that because I pray to Him and He answers me. There is no doubt in my mind that He knows me personally. He knows exactly how to help me and when to help me.

How I live my faith

I serve in a leadership calling in the church that allows me to share my testimony often. I get many chances to teach the youth of the ward, which is always a humbling experience. I get to share with them some of my own experinces from my childhood and mission that helped me understand different priciples of the Gospel. I get the opportunity to home teach some of the families in the ward! It's always a great experience to share some time with each of them and see how they are doing. It's important for me to do all that I can to be a good example for my kids. I want them to grow up with the right morals and standards. I want them to stand for what is right and true. So, I have to make sure that I do all of those things.
