Hi I'm Ray

I grew up in Oregon. I'm a teacher and family man. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a high school teacher and graduate student working on my Master's of Education. I enjoy sports and outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and fishing. My greatest joys in life are my wife and three kids whom I love spending time with going on walks, playing at the park, or just hanging out and relaxing in the back yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family where my parents tried to teach my siblings and I the gospel in a loving, supportive home. Both my parents were very involved in the church and showed me through their example why the gospel of Jesus Christ is so important. As I grew older, I learned for my self the blessings realized from obeying the commandments and following the teachings of Christ and his prophets. My life has been blessed in so many ways because of the gospel and I try to teach my children that when we serve The Lord, and live the gospel, we are blessed for doing so.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the local leadership of our ward and am very involved in many types of church activities in our area. I try to show my faith and love for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ by keeping the commandments and serving others. I feel a sense of fullfillment when serving my fellow man and try to be of service to whomever, whenever I can.
