Hi I'm Diana

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of three children, dance instructor, book club member, music lover, classic movie enthusiast, fan of family day trips and vacations.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of the Church for as long as I can remember. Even those of us that have been 'raised' in the Church have to decide at some point whether or not to follow the teachings and to continue with it. Though I have had to go through faith challenging trials, I have realized that my greatest peace and happiness comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Other paths away from Christ can only temporarily satisfy, and do not provide lasting happiness. I have learned this for myself.

How I live my faith

I believe that by doing the 'small stuff' (like prayer, scripture study, and service) daily has nurtured my faith and kept my focus on the Savior. The various responsibilities and assignments I have been asked to do in the church has helped me develop new talents, especially in teaching and music. I have been a teacher, a leader, and for many years a chorister for the children's group. I currently have been assigned to fellowship and teach others about the Church of Jesus Christ. I love how the Church organization allows everyone the opportunity to serve, regardless of various backgrounds and life experiences. There is great unity of purpose that comes from serving in an organization like that. I have learned through serving not to be so self-centered (how can you possibly help others when you are only thinking about yourself?), how to be a more caring and compassionate friend and neighbor, and am more willing to help in the community.
