Hi I'm Todd

I'm a Mormon. Oh yeah!

About Me

I'm a high school graduate, soon to be a full-time missionary for the LDS church. Following a two year misssion, I plan to go to college and study who knows what. I love wrestling, soccer, snowboarding, frolf, and a variety of other fun things.

Why I am a Mormon

Probably has something to do with being born and raised a Mormon. Why I am so blessed, to have been born into the true church, I can't say. I can only express my gratitude for the opportunities and resources I have been given. I'm a Mormon, and not because my parents or any external influences. At this point in my life I can decide for my self what is true, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints most definitely is. I have a fervent testimony, gained through lots of prayer, fasting and personal spiritual experiences, that has and will continue to dictate my life. The Book of Mormon is true, Christ's Church has been restored to the earth, and modern revelation does exist.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith everyday of the week, not just on Sundays. I have served in various leadership positions throughout my youth. Since I turned 14, I have assisted my dad in visiting other families in the area and offering support to them. Throughout high school I attended early morning seminary every day of the school year. Crazy, I know! I loved seminary though and it helped me to feel the spirit and come to better understand the scriptures.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Todd
Serving a mission is a unique opportunity encouraged for every worthy/eligible young man in our church. Sisters are also given the opportunity to serve if they desire. Even senior couples choose to serve missions. Missionaries are encouraged to fund as much of their mission as possible. Often families/parents provide the funding. If one is not able to pay for their mission the church has a fund set up for members to donate into. This fund provides any who can not afford a mission the opportunity to serve anyway. What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Todd
Mormon missionaries simply want to share with you what they know to be true, what they themselves have found to be true and vital to their happiness in this life and the next. They share a message about our Savior Jesus Christ, His Atonement, and Our Father in Heaven's plan for us. They don't want to force anything on you, but rather for you to learn for yourself of its truth. If you're at all curious what we really believe, they are the best ones to talk to. You might be surprised. What have you got to lose? If what they have to say is true, than it's the most important message you will ever hear. Show more Show less
