Hi I'm Rose

I'm a student, work in retail and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old, I work in retail, and am currently working towards a degree online in Business Management. I like spending time with friends, scrap booking, writing in my journal, reading and music. I also love football (especially the Packers). I have suffered with depression, panic attacks and anxiety most of my life and although things are getting better it can be a constant struggle.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to grow up in the church. Both my parents were converts and got married and sealed in the temple. Besides me there is also my younger brother and we were both raised in the church. Several years ago when my depression and anxiety got really bad I stopped going to church. I felt like nothing could be true. After several years of making choices that pushed me farther from the church and continuing to suffer with my trials, more alone than ever, I finally started realizing I needed the church. I slowly started to go back and the first week I returned I could feel the Spirit so strongly telling me this was where I needed to be. I am now on medication and in therapy but I would not be here if it were not for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for a wonderful loving Heavenly Father. Christ did not only come here to die for our sins, but to also feel everything that we feel. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that there is a plan specifically for me. We all have to go through trials and no matter how much it sucks, I know it's for a purpose. I know that it is going to make me stronger. I love that Christ came here to die for our sins so that I could repent and be clean again. I also love that we have been blessed with the gift of the Holy Ghost so that I can feel that comfort when I need it to know that I am never alone. I know that this is the only true church and it has done everything to save my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week and do anything I can to serve others. I also go on appointments and have regular meetings with our local missionaries to help spread the joy and happiness of the Gospel
