Hi I'm Lisa Christensen

I'm a Mormon. I love staying at home with my family. I am artistic by nature and love living in a small town in the heartland.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother living in a small town, my hobbies include spending time with family, scrap booking, card making, photography and family history. I also enjoy learning about early childhood development.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon Because I know that Christ lives and loves me. I know that through the atonement we will be resurrected and that our sins are forgiven when we repent. I also know that through the atonement we are able to see our loved one that have passed away. It is through Christ's love that we are able to be sealed for time and eternity to our family so when we pass away we are able to stay together as a family. My love for my savior grows every time I read the scriptures, a real blessing for me. I also know that God has a true prophet on earth today, Thomas S Monson, and with his 12 Apostles.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying home and nurturing my family, I keep the word of wisdom by not drinking alcoholic beverages, coffee, taking in harmful substances like drugs and eating healthy. I Love teaching the young children in our church including stories in the scriptures and children songs. I also help with our Branch Family History efforts. I live my faith also by keeping the commandments that our Heavenly Father has given us to obey, such as, standing as a witness of Christ at all time and in all places, comforting those that stand in need of comfort.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Lisa Christensen
We belive that a family is ordained by God, That a family can be together forever with the right priesthood ordiances are preformed in the temple. Families take alot of work! The time that we spend developing relationships and nurturing our children should take a lot of work, but I feel that it is worth every minute, every phone call, every visit, every bedtime story read. It's not easy raising a family but throught the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, our phrophets, scriptures and other church's programs it helps me to know what is important in my life and how to raise the best family that I can.
