Hi I'm Jim

I play soccer, rockband and ride mountain bikes. I enjoy dating my wife and laughing with our children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Much of my time is spent at work, only to come home and help my wife Kathryn shuffle our 4 kids to scheduled activities. After 18 years, we are getting the hang of it. Life is busy, but our family is happy. I enjoy playing soccer, playing the drums to video games and riding mountain bikes--time is always a constraint. I am working with my wife to devote more time to date nights and strengthening our relationship. We are always concerned about the well being of our children and are developing ways to work together to more effectively help strengthen them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). I learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the teachings and example of my parents and patient church leaders. As a young adult, I wanted to know if the teachings of the church were true. After all, many churches claim to be be Christ's true church. I pondered the things I had been taught. I prayed and asked God for a confirmation whether these teachings were true. I received a confirmation from the Spirit that the teachings of the Church were true. I continue to live the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and continue to receive confirmations that these teachings are true. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ encourages me to be a better person, brings joy and happiness into our home and binds our family together.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life as an example to others. I do things to the best of my ability. I am trying to build a strong family with my wife and children. We devote many hours in our home to teaching our children to be good people and outstanding members of the community.
