Hi I'm Anne

I grew up all around the world. My favorite place that I call home is Hawaii. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently finishing up my last year of university, studying English. I love music and writing and sharing the Gospel! I just returned from my mission in the Canada Montreal Mission, where my life was forever changed and I gained a greater testimony and appreciation for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Atonement has the power to change lives and help us become better people, and there is nothing better than sharing that with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a dysfunctional home, where peace was hard to come by. As a teenager I remember longing for a place to feel love and tranquility. I struggled with being happy and with realizing my self worth. The Church has been the greatest blessing in my life, a place of refuge and a place of joy. It lifted my soul to a state of true happiness and helped me to see the meaning in life. It gave me purpose and direction and continues to teach me how to be a better person.

How I live my faith

I am able to serve and contribute in church through playing the piano on Sundays while we sing the hymns. It gives me a part and allows me to share in a way that I know how to, specific to my own personal strengths and talents. I also lived my faith through my service as a full-time missionary in the Canada Montreal Mission, speaking French. It was a wonderful opportunity to dedicate 18 months of my life to totally and completely serving the Lord and His children. I learned so much about relying on the Lord and the power of prayer and the Atonement during my time in Canada. Now, everyday, as a member of the Church I live my faith through reading the scriptures, praying, being an example, and serving others. I look for opportunities to share the Gospel and invite others to learn more about Jesus Christ and apply His teachings into their lives, because I've seen firsthand how happy it truly can make us.
