Hi I'm Andy

I'm a Husband I'm a Father I'm a Sports Fanatic and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am 24 years old and I am from Utah. I am currently in my last semester of college and I am studying Economics. I spend most of my time studying and working to pay for my tuition. My Wife and I have been married for just over 1 1/2 years and we have a baby girl on the way.I love to hang out with my wife Brook and we enjoy doing just about anything together. We like going to plays, football games, basketball games, the movies and do all sorts of stuff. I am really into sports. I mostly enjoy college football. I am a big Jazz fan and BYU fan. Through my study of Economics and history I have found that Austrian Economics is by far my favorite.

Why I am a Mormon

I have many faithful ancestors who made sacrifices so that I could be born into a home with parents who taught me correct principles and raised me to follow Jesus Christ. Being born into an Mormon home has helped me but that is not why I am Mormon. I am Mormon because I read Moroni 10:3-5 and prayed to God to ask if the Book of Mormon was true, and I received a spiritual confirmation of its truthfulness. I have put the challenge to the test many times and without fail I have gotten an answer every time. During my service as a missionary I felt the influence of the Holy Ghost at very high level and during that time on my mission I had some special experiences that left me with zero doubt in my mind of the truthfulness of the first vision that Joseph Smith had. When I have been faced with the trials of life I have put the Lord to the test by relying on him and his gospel by praying, trusting, and obeying his council. Each time I have done this I have been blessed and strengthened, and to me that is a testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel. These are some of the many examples of why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving those around me and promoting christian values. I enjoy studying scripture, attending church service, helping neighbors, and discussing religion with those I know. I am a pretty average guy and I have my fair share of challenges and imperfections but I love Christ and life itself.
