Hi I'm Rebecca

Hi! I am Rebecca! I am a convert, a caregiver, college Student, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

A little bit about who I am. I am a person who truly loves music. I play the flute, guitar, and the mandolin. I may not be perfect at them, but they bring me joy. I love to write stories and poetry. Someday I want to be a Jane of all trades. I will most likely get a degree teaching either elementary education or Biology/Anatomy. I have a few favorite sports, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. have a great love for my Savior Jesus Christ. I love my Heavenly Father, and know that he knows me. I have been truly blessed in my life as long as I keep God involved in it. I was baptized January 2, 2010 as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was 19 years old, and I think its the best decision I could have ever made. I have since served a mission, and continue to work through trials with the aide of the Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a christian as long as I can remember. I was probably 5 years old going to church on my own. I attended several denominations trying to find the church that seemed to be right. It took me several years and several churches to be able to find the one that was right. I joined the Church in 2010. I am Mormon because I believe that this is the true church, everything I have experienced since my baptism has pointed me in directions I would have never thought of. I though that I felt the spirit before, but after receiving the Holy Ghost, I have been able to make wonderful decisions. I know that this church is the restored church and I have had that confirmed to me several times as I have followed the direction of my Heavenly Father. Answers do not always come right away, but one answer I know that will always stay the same is the question "is this church true" I know that it is true with all of my heart, and That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

Living my faith means that no matter how hard my life becomes, I will always press forward. I go to church each Sunday, I pray daily, I read scriptures, and I am kind to those I meet. Living my faith is more than knowing that I am a child of God, Its is knowing that every person I meet is a child of God. That no matter how different we are, no matter what they do, God loves them and wants to help them. Therefore I should love them as they are, and help those who struggle see their full potential. I love my neighbor... no matter what.
