Hi I'm Breanna Groneman

I'm an aunt, I'm a reader, I'm a dancer, I'm a nurse, and I'm a mormon!!

About Me

I grew up in Utah and moved to Southern California for school where I graduated with my LPN. I love to read, cook, dance, and snowboard. I also like going to plays/musicals and a HUGE Disney fan! I'm a girl of variety!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an amazing Mormon family and was taught from my youth all the doctrines of the church. But there was a time in high school and a year afterwards where I really had to figure out for myself what I believed. I struggled to live the way I had been taught and after a while, I found myself down a path I didn't want to be on (spiritually). I recognized that I wasn't as happy and I didn't have the same peace that I had growing up. I decided to go to a youth camp, a place that I recognized in the past as a place that I was very happy. At one point during the youth camp (Esspecially For Youth), there was a speaker talking about Joseph Smith and I had an OVERWHELMING feeling come over me that I KNEW he was a Prophet of God. The next day, during a song that was being played another OVERWHELMING feeling of love came over me where I KNEW that my Heavenly Father loves me. After that, it took a lot of prayer and some lifestyle changes but I choose to live this way because I am blessed so much and I find myself with so much happiness, joy, and peace, even through the hard times.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in Georgia. I love it here and love serving the Lord, helping people come to have a better, stronger relationship with the Savior and their Heavenly Father. To see them recieve the same blessings and happiness that I have is something I love to see! But when I do get home I look forward to continuing to live my life and be an "example of the believers".

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Breanna Groneman
There is a difference between "eternal life" and "immortality". It is God's purpose "...to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" moses 139 but whereas immortality is just living forever, a gift that is given to everyone that has ever lived, Eternal life is living forever in the presence of God and with our families. Eternal Life is how we can continue to progress, because God's plan is a plan of progression.  Show more Show less

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Breanna Groneman
Prophets who lived in the Ancient America's. They wrote their dealings with God and their knowledge on the Savior Jesus Christ. They also saw our day and time, what we would be going through, and wrote things that they knew would help us. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Breanna Groneman
I believe God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Throughout the bible we see a pattern of Prophets that are called and after time, rejected. It stands to reason that the pattern would continue and cause God loves us the same as he did his children then, he has again called a prophet Show more Show less

What is faith?

Breanna Groneman
Faith is having a hope for things that are not seen, which are true. Faith is a sustaining force for each of us, to help us keep going when things are hard. Faith is trusting that God knows what is best for us as his children. Show more Show less
