Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in California. I want to make the world a better place. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern California but I have lived in Utah, Nebraska, London, Vienna and New York City. I love to travel and see the world, write and be with family. I try to be better each and everyday. I am expecting my first baby and cannot wait to meet him. I'm taking photography classes and trying to learn how to cook. I plan events for UN Ambassadors.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it makes sense. The gospel in it's fullness answers all the questions I have about this life, the next, why on earth I am here experiencing trials, heartache and happiness. It gives me direction and purpose. It gives me a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father as well as Jesus Christ. It makes me happy. Who doesn't want to be apart of something that gives them joy everyday?

How I live my faith

I live what I believe everyday. I don't pick and choose what I follow because it's just apart of who I am. I'm FAR from perfect but I try everyday to be a little nicer and more patient (I'm SO glad I have my husband for a good example!).

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Danielle
We believe that God will not FORCE us to do anything. He gives us a commandment and lets us choose whether we will follow it or not. He will never take our agency away. The same goes for serving a mission. Boys are encouraged to go when they are 19 years old for 2 years. Girls are able to go when they are 21 and serve for 18 months. I personally chose to serve a mission, not because I was forced to go, because I wasn't married or because I had nothing better to do but rather because I wanted to. Who wouldn't want their kids learning organization, time management, SERVICE, the scriptures, obedience, diligence, how to get along with someone you are with 24/7...I mean there are SO many good things about going on a mission. It's SO hard when people reject something you love but I believe missions are designed specifically for each individual by a loving Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
