Hi I'm Rene'

I'm originally from Mexico and now live in Georgia, I'm a husband a father, grand-father, I love life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is a life full of miracles. I was taken by the hand of God and brought to the US when I was 11 years old and that one single thing was one of the greatest defining moments in my life. I am married to the most incredible Christ-like woman, have 6 married children, 11 grand-children and I love my life. I worked my way through college and paid for my education through scholarships, various jobs and a lot of hard work. I've worked for the same company for 34 years and I have the opportunity to travel to China and Japan quite often. What a great step that was from a poor little boy in Mexico to traveling to Asia Pacific working for a great company and loving life. Because of my family and friends and most importantly because of the Grace of God and His Son Jesus Christ who is my Savior and Redeemer, I am a very happy and highly blessed person.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to have been born a member. That does not mean that I didn't have to work and gain my own testimony. I'm a mormon because I have received my very own testimony of God's love for me and for my family. I feel it a great blessing to know God's plan for me and most important to have His daily influence through the Holy Ghost. I know that God answers my prayers - not always like the answers that I look for but He does answer my prayers. I am eternally grateful for the Infinite Atonement that Jesus Christ made in behalf of all - especially for me. I shudder to think of the drops of blood that were spilt in my behalf and I can't fathom the thought that I would have caused more pain than was necessary because of my rebellion and disobedience. My family is of great importance to me and I'm so proud of them and of their testimony of this great Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to see them teach their children truths that will enable them to have great joy in this life as they serve others. I am grateful for the faith that my mother and father instilled in me and their teachings of hard work and living an honest life. I'm a Mormon because of the truth that has been given to me and because the joy that belonging to the church has brought to my life just as it brings such joy to all who are Mormons. I am a Mormon because I believe and follow Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my life through serving others. I love to help others - especially those who are looking for the truth as has been revealed by God to His children. I regularly visit families who struggle from various challenges - blindness, illness, pain, and sorrow at the loss of their own families. I find great joy in bringing some happiness to an otherwise difficult and challenging life. I try to emulate the example that Christ has shown. I fall way short but I keep trying hoping to one day kneel at His presence to personally thank Him for his great love.
