Hi I'm Glen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A single male. Just turned 3 score & 4. Recent convert to the Gospel. I started getting interested in Genealogy in the early '90's. Which is what led me into the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I searched several other churchs before joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I became a Mormon because it felt right to me. I believe it to be the still small voice of the Holy Ghost speaking to me. Whenever I have a question this church has been able to provide an answer to my satisfaction.

How I live my faith

Have held callings as 1st & 2 nd councilor in the ward Sunday School Presidency. I also currently have calling in the Family History Center

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Glen
I have a testimony of the Gospel of The Christ Jesus. I feel that many times I have been led in my research. I believe the family is essential to the common good of mankind. The family is the backbone of society. I also believe we all have the basic need to believe in something greater than ourselves. It is these beliefs that led me to join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been doing Genealogical research since 1993 and I came to the Family Search Center here in Waycross. This led me into discussions about religion. I found that we had many of the same beliefs. I feel that Family History is not just a worthwhile program. It is a Gospel Principle (See Malachi 4: 5-6). We believe families can be together forever. We must hasten our efforts to locate our ancestors. Show more Show less
