Hi I'm Robyn

I'm from England. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a degree in Psychology and am currently a psychology teacher at a girls grammar school. I play the piano and I sing. I love to read literature and my favourite books are the classics. I enjoy watching movies. I like to run and I also play netball. I am an Auntie with 2 nieces.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are mormons and I always went to church growing up. I always felt that the Church was true. Year upon year it added joy, peace and understanding to my life. I read the book of mormon when I was about 13 and loved it. Parts of it took my breath away with inspiration and light. It has brought great joy to my life. I know that God lives and is our Heavenly Father. He loves us as His children. I know that the book of mormon is God's word, just like the Bible. I know God has called prophets to teach His children and establish His church. Joseph Smith was one of these prophets. Through this church I continually learn how to live my life so that I can be happy and bring happiness to those around me. Through my relationship with God, I receive comfort, peace, joy, understanding, hope etc. I want to share that with everyone. The doctrines of the church are inspiring and hopeful, and they are true.

How I live my faith

I play the organ in my church which I really enjoy and which I really feel helps the congregation. I also teach in the women's organisation called the Relief Society. I teach the sisters once a month on Sunday. I also am assigned to look after 3 women in my church who are a similar age to me. I try to visit them regularly or at least contact them to make sure they are ok and to help them with anything they might need.
