Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a big fan of sushi, the youngest of seven kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graduate student studying Youth and Family Education in Pennsylvania, but I grew up in a small town in Missouri. I'm the youngest of seven kids, and loved having a big family. Because families are important to me, and I hope to continue working in family life education. For now, I'm enjoying school, living in the eastern United States and keeping busy with my church responsibility which is to work with Young Single Adults in my region. I love the opportunities I have to travel, meet people from a variety of backgrounds and help strengthen youth. I was a missionary for the LDS church in Santiago, Chile and enjoy speaking Spanish with friends any opportunity I have.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both Latter-days Saints and I grew up participating in church. I came to know that the Book of Mormon was true gradually as I read it every day growing up. I felt a simple peace in my life when I would read the Book of Mormon and Bible consistently - and the growing desire to be a better person, and live what Christ taught.

How I live my faith

I feel like I can live my faith through the simple things I do every day. I like to share my values about family, and how my religion and practices help me to have a better relationship with my family. I also enjoy being involved in campus life in our interfaith organization to help strengthen other college students in their faiths.
