Hi I'm Brad

I'm a mechanical engineer and a grandfather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like backpacking, especially in the Pacific Northwest. I like riding my street motorcycle. I enjoy taking care of the yard and garden, and working with Boy Scouts and Scout leaders. It is hard to find time to work on videos, garage projects, etc., but life it good.

Why I am a Mormon

My family did not regularly attend the Mormon (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) until I was 5. My father was baptized with my twin brother and I when I became 8 years old. So I was able to see the difference that the church made in my life and in the lives in my family members. Growing up, I found outstanding role models in the church. The church provides clear guidance on how to live to achieve happiness now and in the future.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping out the youth, as I know it is challenging to be a teenager. I am heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of Ameria, which is the activity arm for the young men in the church. I help train adult and youth leaders so the scouting program can be effective.
