Hi I'm Kent

I'm a family man, a lawyer, a lover of learning, a kid at heart, a martial arts fan, a scuba diver, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the woods of Connecticut with a good woman, 3 kids, a big dog and a great big cat. I enjoy learning and experiencing new things. In the past decade I've been in 15 countries on 4 continents and enjoyed them all. I'm very blessed and know it all flows from a loving Father in Heaven. A long time ago I was a college football player. My favorite foods are fresh bread, fish and pizza. I like to listen to music, have friends over for my wife's cooking, watch and play sports, and scuba dive when I can. I'm always reading books and try to write a little, too. I dabble in many things but am a master of few. I try to help those around me and love to feel the confirming Spirit of the Holy Ghost as I try to serve my brothers and sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't think of anything I would rather be. I found out for myself through living these teachings that they are true. I'm far from perfect, but take courage remembering that none of us will be in this life. I believe in repenting for my mistakes and firmly believe we can be washed clean from all our sins through our Savior, Jesus Christ. He gives me hope and strength every day.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping out with activities and volunteer projects. So many have helped, and continue to help me as I travel through this life, and I try to return the favor. I was a missionary in Japan for 2 years in the 80's and look forward to helping in that way again (with my wife) when I'm older. I know I'm far from perfect but try to do good where I can. My family is close and we try to help each other through our tough spots. Even when the glass seems half empty we try to always remember its really half full.
