Hi I'm Abby

I'm a wife, I run marathons, I work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am newly married and recently graduated from college. I work full-time but my first love is being a wife. I'm quickly learning to cook good meals and penny-pinch. I love running (I've done one marathon and a couple 1/2's), singing, playing the guitar and the piano, and I'm doing my best to prepare to be a good mom someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because from a very early age my parents shared with me their love for Jesus Christ and for keeping His commandments. Eventually, I made the choice on my own to be baptized into the Church and ever since that day my own testimony of Jesus Christ, separate from my parents', has continued to grow. When I learn about Christ and His teachings, and when I live His teachings, I feel such peace and joy. I know who I am, where I came from, and everything the Lord has in store for me if I continue to live my faith. I'm a Mormon because I choose to be; it brings me greater happiness than anything in the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church meetings every Sunday, and by serving fellow Church members and others in my area. Once a month I visit two women in my Ward and learn about their desires and needs and how I can help them. I strive to develop a close relationship with these women so I can better know how the Lord would have me help them. I have helped organize meetings, activities, and choir performances all to help the work of the Lord move forward. I live my faith by actively seeking ways to serve those around me, by sharing my talents, and by making sacrifices to help me stay on the right path.
