Hi I'm Scott

I'm a father of 4 boys and a grandfather of 1 little girl. I love the gospel with all my hear and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pretty typical Mormon husband father and grandfather. I love fishing, scuba diving, motorcycle and ATV riding, boating, working in my garden and just about anything to do "outside". I am the father of 4 boys and I have one grand daughter. I own my own business and sell technical geodetic measurement instrumentation.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because of the spirit that radiates from the teachings of Jesus Christ that are found in our faith. I rely heavily on the inspiration and guidance that I receive from a loving "Father in Heaven" that I can turn to anytime and know that he is there for me. I know that I can draw closer to him by living the kind of life that he expects of me and following his commandments. The hope and direction provided to us by the Savior and our inspired leaders help me keep an eternal perspective, live a better life everyday and cope with the challenges that this life brings.

How I live my faith

One thing that I try to do to live my faith is to set a good example of the way a true follower of the Lord would be expected to live. This includes honesty and integrity in my business dealings, showing the proper love for my wife and family and going the "extra mile" to help others. I have spent many years working in the temples of the LDS church that I have felt the spirit of the Lord bear witness to my soul of the truthfulness of this great work. I have worked in the scouting programs for many years, each of my 4 boys obtained the rank of Eagle Scout by 15 years of age. I am currently actively engaged with the youth programs of the church and I teach a group of 16 year old boys in a Sunday School class. I am an active Home Teacher calling on families that are struggling with different issues in their lives and adding support, love and service where ever possible. I have served as a missionary for the church in England and loved working with those people and teaching them about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how a person can gain greater hope, joy and direction in their lives by following the commandments and teachings of the Saviour. I also have read and studied the Book of Mormon in its entirety many many times and I have a burning testimony of the truthfulness of that book of scripture.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
