Hi I'm Rita

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Brazil and I joined the Church when I was 19 years old. I just love being a Mormon.

About Me

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 19 years old in Brazil. I am now 48 years old and I still feel amazed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love being a mother and a wife. Even thou life is not easy, I find joy in it. I feel happy and content. I love to cook, and read and learn. I love knitting for my family because they like everything I do even thou it is not perfect. I love to do family research because I love my family and I want to know more about them and feel close to them. I have a wonderful husband and three wonderful children. I don't think I love everything about me but I can say that I love myself and my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a very active member of another religion but even though I liked being of that religion I never could find the answers to questions that were very important to me like: Are families forever?; Where was I before my birth?; Is death the end of our existence?

How I live my faith

My current calling is to work with the young girls in our ward as an achievement days advisor. I am also a visiting teacher which means that I and an another sister in our ward visit assigned sisters once a month. We check on one another and see if there is anything with which we can help them. I have also served as a full-time missionary, seminary teacher, Sunday school teacher, and other callings.
