Hi I'm Julie

I love pizza and sports. I'm an Air Force officer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served a full-time mission in Brazil and am an officer in the Air Force. I studied geography and anthropology as an undergrad and love learning about places, people, and cultures. In my studies I have found an appreciation for my fellow spiritual brothers and sisters and firmly believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone. I love reading, baking, working out, and watching and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a third generation Mormon. I've been going to church all of my life, but that's not why I'm a Mormon. I'm a Mormon because I know from personal experience that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church on the earth. I've felt the power of the Gospel in my life making me a better person. I am happier when I am living the principles that I learn about in the scriptures and at church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being kind to those around me and serving them when I have the opportunity. As an officer in the Air Force I have the unique opportunity to serve my fellowmen everyday. I love knowing that I am doing my part to protect those around me. I have found that serving those around me and doing what I can to brighten their day helps me feel closer to my Heavenly Father.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?
