Hi I'm Rick

I ride BMX freestyle. I am an engineer. I climb mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a happy husband, and father of 4 great kids. Secondly, I am an engineer and manager of a tooling company. I am also a BMX freestyler, guitarist, composer, snowboarder, canyoneer and mountaineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, and never really questioned that God existed, or that the church was true, but I did have to increase the knowledge of it on my own. Through prayer, reading the scriptures, and most importantly LIVING it everyday, my faith has become a knowledge that God exists, and that He has a plan of happiness. This complete plan can only be found in his gospel, which is taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a father and husband, serving my family first. In my church I serve as the First Counselor in the Bishopric. Serving others through my calling brings me joy. In my community I try to be an example of why the gospel brings me joy. I coach soccer and football teams, and try to influence everyone I contact in a positive way. I love to take my family and the youth of our church to the canyons and mountains that I love.
