Hi I'm Mark
I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Nevada, and have always loved the outdoors.
I have always been an active person. I love the sense of satisfaction of ending the day knowing I did my best. During my summer vacations between years of school, I managed files for a home building company. Mainly, I scanned the file, and saved it into their computer database. I then wanted to try something more hands on and got a job for an air conditioning company. I enjoyed it, despite the constant heat. When you are fixing air conditioning, that usually means no cool air was available to the very end of the job. When I am not working, I enjoy flying model airplanes, and playing board games with family and friends, swimming, rock climbing and repelling, hiking, camping, motor boating, tubing, and water skiing. The world is a fascinating place for me, so it isn't uncommon for me to ask questions when I can about how something works. Consequently, I love the TV show "How it's Made." "Man Vs Wild" is another one of my favorites. It's fun for me to learn how nature works, and Bear Grills keeps me informed. I love Disney movies. Ever since I was little, I have loved Lion King, Mulan, Toy Story, and especially The Emperor's New Groove. I love to smile. Some people have nick named me Happy Feet. I have found smiling helps me see the positive things, amongst the bad.
I know God is my Father in Heaven and loves us so much that He sent His Son to redeem the world from sin. I know Jesus Christ is my personal Savior. I am happy to know Mormons believe this. I also know that when Christ was on the Earth He set up a Church with Apostles, and Prophets. As far as I am aware, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints AKA The Mormon church is the only church in the world that is organized this way. I still pray about the church often, and have only one answer come. I know the Church is true. I also know by the power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true, and because I know it is true, I know that Jesus Christ's church is on the earth named after Him.
I have a special opportunity! As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. My day starts at 630 every morning. I am given 2 hours every morning to study from the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I love this time of the day. I find that I have more peace in my life when I study the scriptures. At 1000 AM I go out and teach those who are looking for more in their lives. I enjoy sharing the message that God continues to love us by calling prophets today to instruct His children. I love the people. Many are so kind and they want me to always be happy. My mission is the best thing I have ever done for me or my church.
