Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in a small town, I like to program computers, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished serving a mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was awesome. Now I'm working to finish my schooling in computer science.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, grew up a Mormon. Then I started wondering if I was in the right church. Coincidence couldn't have just put me in the right church. It seemed impossible. I studied, prayed, and fasted to know. Then, as I was praying, a quiet, gentle voice entered my mind. It told me I was in the right church and not to worry. Ever since, I've not worried about whether I was in the right church. I knew I was where God wanted me.

How I live my faith

I just finished serving a mission and spreading my faith. Now I still look for those opportunities, and continue studying the scriptures and trying to live what I've learned.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Bible is a book of Holy Scripture written by prophets and apostles in Jerusalem. We believe that it is scripture and study it as the word of God. We also believe in other scriptures, namely the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ (a collection of writings from prophets on the American continent), the Doctrine and Covenants (revelations from modern day prophets) and the Pearl of Great Price (revelations, translations, and writings of Joseph Smith). We believe they are all the word of God and that God still speaks to us through modern day prophets. Show more Show less
