Hi I'm Steven McCoy

I'm a Mormon retired and doing fun things. I like to tell others about the restored gospel in these last days.

About Me

Before I retired I worked for the City of Oxford, Mississippi for 37 years. I did engineering work designing power lines; substation maintained and even designed and installed traffic controllers for the City. I am the father of 6 (3 boys and 3 girls). Now retired I do wood working and am building Dulcimers at this time. I bought a nice fiberglass fishing boat but seem to be too busy to use it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon for 37 years. Before I only had brief encounters with various religions. The LDS Missionaries would teach me and I was slow to respond, but one night the Holy Spirit helped me to gain a testimony of how god will deal with people in the last days. I now understand Jesus is not dead, he lives and directs his church in the last days.

How I live my faith

I have had an opportunity to be a leader in the Church in various fields. I have worked with the youth, been a scout master for several years, and am still the Chairman of the scouting committee. I visit members of the church and from time to time go with the church missionaries to teach investigators. I attend church often. I have had the privilege of administering to the sick and giving blessings as an ordained priesthood holder. I have seen and felt the power of heaven as the lives of people have been blessed.
