Hi I'm Sherri

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother of 2 + 2, and grandmother of 7. Our nest is empty, but I participate in many things that give me a full and happy life. I completed an associates degree in general studies in May 2010. I have taught piano in my home for about 27 years. I have a passion in preserving family pictures, video tapes and family reunions. I love inspiring music. I walk at 5 a.m. and have dear friends who have shared that time for exercise and talk for 20+ years. My faith is my life! I am a two time cancer survivor!

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to study and live the tenets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I absolutely know that I am seeking and living TRUTH. I have witnessed again and again the happiness living the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ brings to me and others. I feel my Savior's love. I trust in His plan for me.

How I live my faith

Being an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given me opportunities to serve that have shaped my life. Currently I organize music for our ward (congregation) sacrament meetings. I also am learning to assist members of my congregation in doing family history work. I have served many years with the youth, and I consistently serve as a visiting teacher - a program that provides watch care for each woman 18 and older in our congregation. I am a member of our local music teachers association that provides special events and opportunities for piano teachers and students.
